ETF Research & Analytics TeamETF Research & Analytics | A function of the ETF corporate think tank. 2020 Full Year Economic Outlook
While it seems that the global narrative has shifted towards the gradual exit strategy of the coronavirus pandemic, economic remedies are falling short across the board in introducing a medium to long-term safe exit without being at the expense of small to medium enterprise as well as individual non-automated labor. Using simple and noncomplicated language, we foresee and forecast global financial and precious metal markets to witness a temporary surge leading until December 2020, with normal cyclical slight market corrections along the way. Our data modeling projection anticipates a sharp recession and hyperinflation towards the first quarter of 2021 driven by a continuous decline of purchasing power accompanied with substantially less liquidity in circulation. Although we project a short-term incline in the markets across the board, we note a light alarm regarding possible trade setbacks and the release-timing of the airline stimulus package which could result in a quicker relapse of the global economy.
